Why do people love Genesis' - 'Misunderstanding', and 'Turn it on Again' when it is seriously their WORST?

Genesis has soooooo many ingenious, and awesome songs. These two songs
have got to be the worst songs out of ALL bands that I 've ever heard
- I mean seriously, look, Carpet Crawlers, The Musical Box, Suppers
Ready.... must I go on????? How could they even put these out as
singles, AND they were so popular???? It really discourages me in the
confidence of the human race and musical taste. But, look at how
popular Rap and Country are. Amazing.
